Dr. P. Saravanan is currently a professor in the area of Finance and Accounting at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Tiruchirappalli. Before taking up this assignment he was briefly associated with the Central University of Tamilnadu as a Professor and Dean, School of Commerce and Management. Before that, he was a professor at IIM Shillong.
His areas of interest are Corporate Finance, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, Corporate Governance and Project Finance. He has published thirty-six articles in the Indian and International Journals. Out of which twelve are in the B and C category as per the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) classification.
