Plan 15,000 hires over 18 months for a giga-project with 30% forecast attrition.
Participants take on the role of a People Analytics Lead for a UAE group running SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM and Workday across different business units. Faced with a board request for a single workforce report, they reconcile metrics across platforms, build a Power BI view, and flag where the numbers disagree.
The simulation combines metric calculation, dashboard building and AI-assisted summarisation into one live scenario, closing with a short data story pitched to a mock executive panel.
Learners get hands-on time in a simulated Power BI and Copilot environment, practising dashboard builds, natural-language queries and exit-interview summarisation on realistic HR data sets, with no risk to a live company file.
The sandbox mirrors the tools closely enough for the practice to transfer directly to the workplace, so learners leave able to open a blank Power BI file and build a usable dashboard unsupervised.
After completing the course, participants will be able to:
1
Calculate and interpret 12 core HR metrics, linking workforce measures to relevant business outcomes
2
Interpret dashboards in SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM Cloud and Workday People Analytics
3
Build Power BI dashboards for headcount, attrition, recruitment funnels and learning completion
4

The HR Analytics & AI Certificate Course is designed for mid-to-senior-level HR professionals with around 3 to 12 years of experience who want to use workforce data more effectively. It is also suitable for eligible CHRM holders seeking specialised training in analytics and artificial intelligence.
The course is particularly relevant to:
HR analytics involves collecting, measuring, and interpreting workforce data to understand employee turnover, recruitment performance, headcount, learning outcomes, and other workforce indicators. It helps HR professionals identify patterns, evaluate performance, and make decisions based on evidence rather than assumptions.
HR analytics with AI extends this work through tools such as Microsoft Copilot and generative AI. These tools can assist with summarising HR information, generating dashboard insights, and preparing business reports. Predictive analytics can also help forecast turnover and hiring needs. However, AI-generated findings require validation, particularly when employee privacy, recruitment bias, and workforce decisions are involved.
Through the HR Analytics & AI Certificate Course, you will learn to interpret workforce data, create dashboards, and use AI tools for practical HR tasks. The training combines exercises and workplace case studies to help a candidate apply analytical methods to business questions.
The practical skills will include:
The HR Analytics & AI Certificate Course at Learners Point combines practical exercises, workplace case studies, and guided training with commonly used HR analytics tools. The program focuses on building the ability to interpret workforce information, develop dashboards, and communicate findings in business terms.
Participants work towards practical capabilities in four core areas:
The program includes a scenario-based, open-book assessment. Participants who meet the passing requirements receive the HR Analytics & AI Certificate with KHDA accreditation marks.
Extensive experience in HR analytics is not specified as a prerequisite in the course brochure. However, the program is primarily intended for mid-to-senior-level HR professionals with approximately 3 to 12 years of experience, as well as eligible CHRM holders from any provider. Participants should be prepared to work with HR datasets and complete practical exercises. Access to Power BI Desktop, standardised HR data files, and Microsoft Copilot is required for the relevant activities.
The HR Analytics & AI Certificate Course can help candidates develop skills relevant to HR leadership, particularly when responsibilities start to include workforce planning, employee retention, recruitment performance, and management reporting. Learning to present data-backed recommendations can strengthen a participant’s contribution to strategic discussions with senior leaders. However, completing the course does not guarantee promotion or a leadership position. Career progression also depends on professional experience, existing qualifications, organizational requirements, and the ability to apply analytical findings effectively at work.
The HR Analytics & AI Certificate Course has a total duration of 8 learning hours, delivered across four classes of two hours each. The program combines instructor-led teaching with practical activities and workplace case studies. For the extended program, the classes run immediately after the CHRM core program, without a gap. The assessment must be submitted within seven days of class completion. Participants can only attend the training program online.
The curriculum covers four areas, beginning with HR metrics and HRIS dashboards, followed by dashboard development in Microsoft Power BI. Participants then explore practical AI applications and prompting before progressing to predictive analytics and workforce planning. The training covers tools such as Excel, Microsoft Copilot, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM Cloud and Workday People Analytics.
Practical activities include calculating 12 core HR metrics, creating Power BI dashboards, reviewing AI-generated outputs, auditing recruitment shortlists for bias and forecasting workforce requirements. Participants also prepare a one-page HR business case supported by workforce data. Assessment includes practical activity completion and a short, scenario-based, open-book written assessment, with a minimum pass mark of 70%.
Participants who pass the assessment receive the HR Analytics & AI Certificate issued by Learners Point, with CPD UK and KHDA accreditation marks. The certificate is issued within 14 days of passing the assessment, subject to the program's certification requirements.
The assessment consists of practical activity completion and a short, scenario-based, open-book written assessment. A minimum score of 70% is required, and the written assessment must be submitted within seven days of class completion. The program is available as a standalone option for eligible CHRM holders or as an extension to the CHRM Extended program.
