    Before enrolling in this training program, candidates must have have this prerequisite:

    • A valid ITIL® 4 Foundation certificate (or an equivalent ITIL® 4 credential) is recommended for this ITIL® 4 to ITIL® 5 Bridge Program, as the course builds on existing ITIL 4 knowledge.

    For individuals with ITIL v3 Foundation, progressing directly into the ITIL 5 Certification is not recommended. It is important to first complete ITIL 4 Foundation for a smooth transition to the bridge. This includes the following steps:

    • ITIL v3 Foundation is not accepted as a prerequisite for the ITIL 5.
    • ITIL 4 Foundation is required before advancing to the bridge program.
    • Completing ITIL 4 Foundation provides the necessary foundation to fully grasp ITIL 5 concepts.
    • The ITIL 5 Certification will then build on your existing knowledge of ITIL 4 and introduce advanced frameworks and practices.
