Leading a large-scale Agile transformation programme across business units
Participants will assume the role of enterprise leaders responsible for leading a large-scale Agile transformation initiative using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®). Working within a realistic business environment, participants will assess organizational agility, establish Agile Release Trains, facilitate Program Increment Planning, align portfolios with strategy, implement Lean-Agile leadership practices, and drive enterprise change while balancing governance, customer value, and delivery performance.
The simulation challenges participants to make strategic decisions, manage organizational resistance, prioritize initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, optimize value streams, and lead transformation initiatives that improve business agility and customer outcomes. The experience reinforces practical application of SAFe® principles within enterprise environments.
Participants will work within a technology-enabled enterprise agility environment designed to simulate modern SAFe® implementation and Agile transformation practices. The sandbox supports portfolio management, PI Planning, Agile Release Train coordination, backlog management, DevOps workflows, and transformation reporting through AI-assisted productivity techniques while maintaining Lean-Agile principles and governance.
The sandbox enables participants to create transformation roadmaps, portfolio dashboards, PI objectives, ART structures, value stream maps, change plans, and organizational maturity assessments while using technology to improve collaboration, reporting, and enterprise decision-making.
