2) You should have a high school diploma
3) You should abide by the RBT Ethics Code
4) You should successfully complete and pass the RBT Competency Assessment
5) You should complete and pass the RBT exam, which is comprised of 75 multiple-choice questions and assesses the applicant’s knowledge of the RBT Task List
A certified RBT is eligible to work in clinical settings or provide therapy in home, community, and school environments. The RBT certification, offered by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), qualifies the candidate for state licensure as a behavioural technician. This opens up opportunities to work in schools, hospitals, and home health settings that administer behavioural therapies directly to patients.
