- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in an HR position and a master’s degree or global equivalent, OR
- At least 5 years of work experience in an HR position and a bachelor’s degree or global equivalent, OR
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a professional-level HR position

The eligibility criteria for the SPHRi certification is listed below:
1)Possess a master's degree or its global equivalent along with a minimum of 4 years' experience in an HR role OR,
2)Hold a bachelor's degree or its global equivalent coupled with a minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR role OR,
3)Alternatively, have at least 7 years of experience in an HR position
4)Knowledge of Local Labor laws is also essential
The exam format of the SPHRi Certification exam is as follows:
1)Duration: 2 hours and 45 minutes (plus an additional 30 minutes for administration).
2)Structure: The exam consists of 115 scored questions, primarily multiple-choice, and includes 25 pretest questions.
3)Format: It's a computer-based exam held at Pearson VUE testing centres.
